Roman Holiday Colosseo

The room looked beautiful, but we had so many problems. Getting into the building and guesthouse both depends on a website and private code. The room key is also meant to open the inner door, but that only worked sometimes. No one answered the phone, so WhatsApp was the only way to reach anyone. We got locked out twice, then all the electricity went off on our last night. We couldn’t find hotel staff, and no one apologized for the times we were inconvenienced. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We had a lovely four-night stay. The room was nicely presented and had everything we needed, and the service and communication were brilliant. They sent directions from the airport, tips for good local restaurants on our first night, and clear details about checkout and luggage storage. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

We really appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were. Our room was clean and spacious, and the location was handy for most of the tourist attractions. Lime and bird scooters were available to rent practically everywhere. The host shared useful information about the area, including places to eat and sights to visit. They also let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could see more of the attractions, and getting it back afterward was quick and easy.

The staff were so welcoming and quick to help with questions, and they even shared a list of restaurant recommendations. I also loved the outdoor space and the entrance. The rooms were spotless and looked just like the photos. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to the Colosseum, and the neighborhood felt friendly and safe. The stay exceeded my expectations.
