We couldn’t travel because my husband had an unexpected medical emergency, so we contacted the hotel and Booking.com beforehand to ask for some flexibility. The hotel refused a date change, voucher, or any other option and held to its 100% non-refundable policy. I understand that policies exist, but the lack of empathy in a health-related situation was disappointing. Keep in mind that even a serious medical emergency may not lead to an exception. I don’t recommend booking.

This was described in a way that led us to expect a boutique hotel, but it turned out to be an apartment with rooms rented as hotel rooms. There were no services after 2 PM, and the staff were very rude and unprofessional. The price felt far too high for what was provided. I won’t stay again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting proper hotel service.

I’m posting here because you haven’t replied to my email. Our reservation, including tourist tax and breakfast, was cancelled after the airline cancelled our flight because of Storm Ciarán. There was no alternative flight for us to take. Please refund our money, or, if that isn’t possible, provide a voucher so we can book another date at your hotel. I hope to hear from you. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the facilities were great, including a jacuzzi bath. Very clean too. Highly recommend.
