Rome ApartHotel

We'd arranged this one-night stay at Rome Aparthotel well ahead and asked more than once about parking for our rental car. We were told there was a partnership with a secure lot, so we expected an easy arrival and a chance to make the most of our only night in Rome. Instead, Olga, Umberto's assistant, sent us to a lot that was closed. She tried reaching Umberto, but got no answer. We spent two hours trying to find out if it might open later or where else we could park. Hot and tired, we eventually checked into a different hotel with secure parking. Umberto called my husband afterward and said he'd be in touch, but never gave us the partial refund we requested. Very disappointing, especially since we'd paid in advance.

You can pick when breakfast is brought to your room, and it was great. Umberto was extremely helpful, too. The location's excellent, just across the street from the vatican.

The room was really clean, breakfast was fabulous, and the location is prime. Umberto's a real gentleman. Thanks, Umberto, see you next time. I'd highly recommend this place!

San Pietro is only a 2-minute walk away, and there's a bus connection to Termini trains station. Umberto was a friendly, helpful host. Such a good spot in Rome, completely recommend it!
