The reception team were courteous, and Emmanuel was polite and apologetic when he saw the state of the alternative room. But management never followed up, even though I contacted them several times and was told the matter had been escalated. That lack of accountability, cleanliness, and resolution was very disappointing. We spent three nights with a persistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It spread through the room and the layout gave us nowhere to escape it. I raised it with reception several times. They said they were escalating it and that we’d hear back in the morning, but no one did. Maintenance treated the shower drain on three visits, and each time the smell returned almost immediately. We ended up sleeping with the window open in very cold weather, which was miserable. On the final evening we were offered another room, but it smelled even worse and was visibly dusty and poorly maintained. Tired and facing an early flight, we had no real choice but to go back to our original room. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough to share.

Breakfast was high quality, with a wide, tasty selection, and the location was excellent. We had a small bathroom issue on the first night, but the staff apologized sincerely, handled it well, and upgraded us to a suite the next day to make up for it. The team, especially Federico, Giulio, Claudio, and Daniel, were kind, professional, and attentive. We felt very welcome and would highly recommend the place.

The room was a little small, but we made it work, and I loved being able to open the big window for fresh air. There’s no air vent in the bathroom, which was disappointing, though having the window open helped. Best of all, the TV let us cast movies and shows from our phones, so we could watch our favorites. The buffet was great, everything we wanted to see was close enough to walk to, and the staff were very nice. Thanks for a great stay.

We were in Room 318 for three nights, and the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage from the moment we arrived. The odour spread across the room, with nowhere to get away from it because of the layout. A technician came three times and poured something down the shower drain, but the smell came back within minutes each time. We had to sleep with the window open in freezing weather just to put up with it. They offered us another room on the last night, but it smelled even worse and looked dusty and unhygienic. Emmanuel at reception saw it and apologized. At 1 AM, exhausted and facing an early flight, we had no option but to return to our original room. I emailed management several times and was told the complaint had been escalated, but I’ve received no response. The reception staff were polite, but the lack of a fix, hygiene standards, and management accountability was extremely disappointing. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warranted one.
