I met several other solo female travelers here, which was the best part of my stays. I’ve stayed in two different rooms on separate visits. The first was on the first floor, quite large, with four beds, a decent shower, soap and shampoo, and even a sort of laundry room attached. On that one-night visit, the rate was 70€/ night by card or 60€ cash. On my second visit I stayed four nights in a smaller room on the second floor, still at 60€ cash/night. It was noticeably rougher, with four beds crammed in. There was no soap in the bathroom, the shower head was broken and wouldn’t attach to the wall for hands-free use, and the only mirror was in the bathroom. It also didn’t feel as clean as the first room. Hotels in Rome are so expensive, so if you need something affordable and very central, this seems like the best option, about 10 walk to termini and 15 to colosseo, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. You’ll be fine if you can put up with a little grime and a super flat mattress. He answered more reliably on WhatsApp than by cell, so I’d contact him there. You may still have to call a few times, even after confirming your arrival time.

The owner was polite, friendly, and really helpful. I stayed four nights and it was more than perfect. Highly recommend it if you’re after a cheap, quiet place to stay.

I stayed one night in a double room. It’s in a quiet spot right in the centre, and Franco was incredibly friendly!

The rooms are spacious and feel safe, and Franco is a lovely host. I have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back.
