The rooms were spacious, big, and clean, and the bathroom was too. Lodi station is only a five-minute walk away, so it was a great experience overall. A few things didn’t work for me, though. The pillows were too hard and left my neck stiff and sore every morning. The mattress was very soft and split into two parts that kept shifting. The children slept on the sofa, which was more like a pile of big pillows and not very comfortable. The air conditioning felt very cold, depending on your preference. Even set to 23 or 24, it dropped to 20 or 21, then switched off after a while. The minibar was really tiny too. A 0.5 l bottle of water barely wouldn’t fit.

We’d love to stay at Rosso Cortese again. The host was wonderful, very kind, gave us good tips for places to eat and see, and served a great breakfast. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and nicely presented, with everything we needed. The window had a mechanical shutter we could open or close with a button. The area was quiet, about a five-minute walk from the nearest metro, and a pleasant 20-minute walk into central Rome.

The owner was so kind and sweet, always ready to help. We had to leave very early, but she made sure breakfast was available for us. The room matched the photos, was tasteful and very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice, too. The location was good, near metro stations and within walking distance. A really pleasant stay.

We spent a whole week here and had a great stay, thanks in no small part to the kind, helpful staff. The price was very good, and the place is conveniently situated, with the metro a few hundred meters away and a COOP just around the corner. Via del Pigneto has incredible restaurants and nightlife unlike anywhere else. It’s still mostly central, though remember Rome is a big city with its good and bad sides. Thanks for making our visit such a joy!

The host is so kind, and the place is clean, comfy, and cozy. It’s very close to metro A, with metro C within walking distance.
