San Peter Angels Two

We stayed for about 20 minutes, then left because of the smell, dirty floor and shower, and a toilet that wouldn't flush. We reported the dirty room and the problems with the shower and toilet, but the hotel said we were lying and that everything was perfect. We took photos and videos that show otherwise. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The location was pretty great, but this place was a nightmare and I strongly urge people to look elsewhere. I waited outside a locked apartment building, not a hotel, because the host was nowhere to be found. The only way to contact them was WhatsApp, and they spoke Italian but no English. Once inside, we got a completely different room from the one advertised. The beds were falling apart and there was no space for our bags. We were left with no help, host, or staff. It was unbelievably unprofessional, and I can't understand how this place is listed as a hotel. Don't book here.

I booked through an agency weeks before arriving, but couldn't reach the hotel by phone or email at any point before the trip. When I got there, the doors were all shut, nobody was at reception, and no one answered the phone. It felt like a ghost hotel, and even the agency couldn't get hold of the owner. The agency quickly found me another hotel. It cost more, but they refunded the difference and even covered the taxi there, saying San Peter Angels' owner would be charged for it. So things worked out for me, but I wouldn't risk booking directly. I was glad to have used a reliable agency. This all happened in 2015, so perhaps they've learned to answer calls since then.

It's a mix of guest house and hotel. We had the four-person room with two double beds. The mattress had small stains, there weren't enough pillows for both beds, the toilet seat was unstable, and paint beside the bed was peeling.
