The host was lovely and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around Rome. The room was okay, with enough storage for our things. The balcony was really nice, and I spent quite a bit of time out there. The bathroom, especially the shower, could have been cleaner, with black mold, and the floors in the bathroom and on the balcony needed attention too. Overall, it was okay.

The room was large and clean, with an attached bathroom and toiletries, and the location is handy for trains, buses and restaurants. Marina was very helpful. Just be aware this isn’t a hotel with someone waiting in a lobby to greet you. It’s an apartment with four rooms, so contact the host when you arrive. She can help you get in and explain what you need to know.

The view and location were the only good parts. The bathrooms were unhygienic, with mold and limescale in the showers and pretty much everywhere else. The room itself needed some TLC, and there was mold in the mini fridge, so I couldn’t use it. The floors were dangerously slippery, and I hurt myself twice. The owner complained that I’d left too much rubbish, though it was just a few pizza boxes and some plastic drink bottles. There wasn’t a bin provided other than the small one in the room. I wouldn’t stay here again. It wasn’t worth the money, and the experience left a bitter taste about Airbnb in Italy.

The people running the place were very nice, and the location is excellent. We had a brief power cut that caused a few problems, through no real fault of anyone, but everything was sorted quickly. The balcony had a great view and a little table with two chairs. Unfortunately, its doors were broken and wouldn’t lock, so the room couldn’t be secured because guests from some other rooms could reach the balcony via part of the roof.
