The room looked just like the photos, was very clean, and had all the amenities. The area was great, though extremely noisy in the evenings, when it seemed like all of Rome had gathered there. The shops were the only ones open late, so if you weren't exhausted enough to fall asleep, the commotion below made it hard to do anything. We never got a greeting and were simply sent to a shop to pick up the key. At checkout, we had to call in the morning to find out where to leave the key and the city tax money. We were told to leave both on the table, which meant someone could take them or later say we hadn't left them. The water heater ran out of hot water at times and took two days to heat up again. We also couldn't get the heating to work because the controls had no batteries.

The service was helpful, and the apartment was comfortable, roomy, pleasant, and well equipped. It’s in a great spot in one of Rome’s most picturesque neighborhoods. There’s plenty happening at night, which is nice if you want to enjoy the nightlife, but can be a problem when you’re trying to sleep.

At 450 euros for a week, the price was very affordable, and the apartment itself is good, spacious, and air-conditioned. Its central spot in Trastevere is convenient, but that also means it gets very noisy. The building is quite old, with very steep stairs at the entrance, so it may not suit older people with mobility difficulties.
