The location was good, and the two rooms we booked were fine. The shower was awkward to use because people elsewhere in the room could see inside, so when travelling with friends, everyone else had to leave while someone showered. Aside from that, things were okay. With Rome prices being so high, what we paid seemed normal.

The room changes are at the host's discretion, so you might not get the accommodation you paid for. I was also here for work and couldn't rely on the internet for business. My host through Airbnb just said it worked. This isn't really a hotel, more like four bedrooms off a hallway, and there's no staff after 12:00 PM. The rules are strict, including no eating in your room, and the cleaners WILL ignore a do not disturb sign. I work nights, and that really disrupted my sleep. The so-called modern design felt darker and more depressing than the photos. The old spring beds were terribly uncomfortable, so I used my extra pillows to try to avoid waking up in pain. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and left early, with significant fees. I wouldn't stay here. No stars if I could.

Good value for the price, and the AC made it much easier to sleep in summer. The street was very quiet. The toilets were broken, and the bathrooms generally need maintenance.

The rooms looked just like the photos, and the host was helpful. Breakfast wasn't great, though the croissants were really tasty. Compared with the other hotels we considered, this was well worth the money. Thanks, Brian! 😊
