Seven Hills Camping Village&Veio Residence Resort

The reception staff were hostile and dismissive, which capped off a really bad stay. The site was run down and nothing like the website made it seem. There was no market, despite what the listing suggested, and using the crowded pool cost extra. It was full of local families rather than people staying at the campsite. The toilets and bathrooms were disgusting. Worst caravan and camping park we stayed at during a year travelling around the UK and Europe.

It may be cheap, but I wouldn't say it's worth it. The rooms are cramped and dirty, with no private bathrooms, and nobody seemed to clean the already filthy shared ones. There were insects and spider webs all over the place. Staff were unfriendly, especially at night. It's also far from transport and shops, with a 30-minute walk just to reach the main road. This place was awful, and I can't find a good way to describe how bad it was.

We paid for one night but left after an hour. The smashed sheds, empty wine and beer bottles, and vans with dirty mattresses made the site look like a place where homeless people stayed. The toilets and showers were disgraceful too. I still can't understand how this campsite has three stars. We got no refund, so the money was a loss. Lesson learned: look around before paying.

The bathroom areas and houses had no hygiene at all, and there were bedbugs in the rooms. I wouldn't recommend this campsite to anyone.
