We spent the whole vacation exploring on foot, from the Colosseum to the Vatican, since so much is close by. The metro is two stops from the main train station, and the hotel is a one-minute walk away. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel was clean and beautiful. I liked the breakfast too.

The location is handy and quite nice, tucked away on a back street, and the free WiFi worked well. The rooms were better than the reception area, which looks like a typical French two-star trying to pass for four. Breakfast was standard. The staff put in effort, but this didn't feel like a four-star hotel.

The staff were really nice, and the rooms were clean enough, though there was a small unpleasant smell that improved a lot with ventilation. The bed was very hard and the pillow uncomfortable. Our friend had to pay extra to switch from the tiny, short bed in the single room. Breakfast felt a bit limited to me, with no vegetables at all. The location is excellent: three minutes on foot from fountain de Triton, seven from fountain de Trevi, and surrounded by restaurants and shops.

We walked everywhere from this really cute hotel, which is close to everything. The room was large enough and had a really big bathroom. There’s a great restaurant around the corner called osteria barberini. Breakfast was the only letdown, though I think that may be a British thing, since I’m used to having hot food in the morning.
