Marina, who looked after breakfast, was wonderful, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. She went above and beyond, and we really appreciated her hospitality. The reception staff were all just as welcoming, and we felt well cared for. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of delicious desserts and a couple of gluten-free choices, including packaged muffins and Melba toast. There was always plenty left, no matter what time we came down. Our room was very clean, which was my wife’s top priority. We also liked the location, about 10-15 minutes from the Collosseum and Baths of Caracalla. We really enjoyed staying at Sourire and would happily recommend it for a trip to Rome.

At 156€ a night, this was shocking. I was put in a ground-floor closet, and the smell is better left to your imagination. The noise was awful too, with constant clattering from the reception desk next door and pipes roaring whenever a neighbor used the shower. My original hotel messed up my reservation, so I was stuck in this "room" for the night. The photos should speak for themselves, but the level of incompetence deserves spelling out. By the most generous estimate, this is a 70€ room. I’m appalled by these gutter-tier hospitality standards, and Rome has reached a new low for me. The hotel is called "sourire," French for "smile," but I certainly lost mine. Not for leisure, business, or anything. RUN!!!!

Our family had a three-bed room, and it worked perfectly for us. Breakfast each morning had everything we needed, served in a delightful setting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat, with some attractions and hop-on bus stops within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
