Spanish Steps Regal Penthouse

The rooms are clean, but really cramped. It feels much better suited to solo travelers than to couples. We got there before check-in and were told an early check-in wasn't possible, which was fine. They'd arranged our ride from the airport. Since it was so hot, we eventually came back after walking around, but nobody offered us water. They did suggest waiting on the rooftop terrace. Every table up there was covered with staff belongings, including computers, phones, flowers, and papers, while the staff sat in a corner. One person said hello, but nobody cleared a table or made us feel welcome. It's a pretty poor start, and if we weren't already here, we'd look for somewhere else for the weekend. The service leaves a lot to be desired.
