Stazione Tiburtina Roma

My daughter was alone and only 20, and when she asked staff how to get a taxi to the airport, they wouldn’t or couldn’t help. They said they didn’t speak English. She got Italian friends to call security and speak to them by phone, but security said they couldn’t understand them, then told her in English that she had to leave the station. Disgusting way to treat her. I’m glad she won’t be going back.

The station itself is nice, but I spent 20€ on lunch and coffee and then had to pay to use the toilet. Shame on you. Bars and restaurants should have a token for customers to use the facilities.

The building is nice, but what good is that if travelers get kicked out? At 1 a.m., a rude, grumpy supervisor made us leave the station, and we had to stay outside until 4:30 a.m. We spent the whole night surrounded by homeless and untrustworthy people. The toilet was closed, and the security workers didn’t speak English or answer our questions. They just kicked us out without a word. The worst experience in Rome. Never again.

I’ve already missed two trains because the board said, for example, Cesano or Bracciano, 10:53, binario 3. I waited there like an idiot, only to find the train had left from Binario 4 for Cesano or Bracciano. Who can I talk to about how stupid, frustrating, and useless this is?
