Getting there was easy: the location is great, and check-in went smoothly after the manager coordinated the timing with us. The rooms were acceptable for the price and location, nothing special, but the service was really poor. There was no on-site staff, so we had to contact the manager when our room wasn't cleaned on day one. We were told the cleaner had come, thought we were in, and left. We said we'd be out at 4:30 pm, but he arrived at 4:20 pm. We asked him to wait ten minutes, and he just left without cleaning. The next day we put out the “please make up the room” sign, but again there was no cleaning. When we complained, the manager insisted it had been cleaned the day before, even though it hadn't. It finally got cleaned on the third day. The whole thing was uncomfortable. The staff member who came in asked about our religion because of our Arabic names, which felt inappropriate and unnecessary. Communication was hard too, since neither the manager nor staff spoke proper English. We spent a lot of time going back and forth over a basic issue instead of resting. A polite apology would have been much better than insisting the room had been cleaned on the first day. Great location and easy check-in, but the service was unreliable and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a smooth, comfortable stay.
