A good place to visit from. The owner was very helpful, even though we never met in person. The rooms were clean, and there was a small kitchen for making coffee or tea. The fridge always had fruit juices. Groceries and small cafes are nearby for coffee and fresh Italian pastries and cakes, and all the sights are within walking distance.

Everything was lovely, and Mr. Salvador was very kind. It’s a room rather than a hotel, with a spotless shared kitchen and a private bathroom. The place itself is clean and pleasant, close to the train station and the tourist sights.

The owner was friendly and the room was clean. They didn’t speak much English, but that didn’t spoil our visit. Just take care around Rome, some parts of the city feel a bit dicey.

Watch out for this scam. She booked a room for us through Booking, then a week later said it was no longer available because she’d booked it for someone else. Avoid them.

I’d made the booking three months ahead, but they cancelled it a week before we were due to arrive, saying it was Booking’s policy. Please don’t trust them!
