That rooftop terrace at Hotel Traiano is gorgeous, and the view really is breathtaking. But the room itself was a letdown: old furniture, stains on the sofa, dusty floors with what looked like old bleach marks, and a bathroom shower with such weak pressure I had to move around to get wet. The kitchen was tiny, too. Construction started every day at 8 am. I don't see the point of paying extra for a terrace you barely use when the room needs cleaning and updating. There are cheaper, cleaner places around Roma, and plenty of views to enjoy elsewhere.
