The owner's tips were excellent, and the apartment is in a really convenient spot. The experience was let down by a poor breakfast and an unpleasant service encounter, since the woman handling cleaning and serving was quite rude. Check-out is also very early. At this high price, I expected much better service.

We really enjoyed the room's mix of modern touches and historic stone, especially the red curtains. This is a very affordable B&B in Trastevere, with a nice breakfast and a handy location. You can walk over the bridge to major sights and central Rome, or catch a bus to Roma Trastevere station. I was glad to stay near the area where I lived as a student in Rome.

The rooms are pleasant and the location is great, but getting inside was confusing. We had to work out on our own that we needed to call from the apartment intercom, and nobody answered when we tried. After calling the hotel a couple of times, the man who helped us sounded very irritated about letting us in and checking us in. Customer service was bad. Also, if you visit in summer and want a cool room, this isn't the place. The AC barely worked, and our room was almost as hot as outside, around 100 degrees.

We chose Trastevere after weighing up the neighborhoods on our first trip to Rome, and it worked perfectly for us. It felt less touristy, about 0.6 miles from the center, with loads of great restaurants. We loved wandering around at night and taking in the food, wine, gelato, and atmosphere. The four-room hotel/airbnb is on the second floor of a secure building. The room, service, and location were all amazing, and Edoardo and Livia were wonderful hosts with excellent recommendations. My wife and I stayed in Sept 2024, and we'd absolutely come back.

The room was clean and perfectly fine, and the location was good. But evenings were incredibly noisy, so we couldn't sleep with the window open. The walls are thin too, we could hear every time our neighbors were making love. Breakfast was pretty poor as well.
