The staff made a real difference, always friendly and ready to help. When we struggled with the stairs and our medium-sized luggage, especially because my partner has mobility issues, they carried our bags and we left them a tip. There’s no lift, and we were on the third floor. The room was spacious and comfortable for our four-day, three-night trip. The location of Trevi 41 Hotel is excellent for walking to the main sights. I found the room clean enough, though I’d seen mixed opinions about cleanliness beforehand. The Wi-Fi in our room was unreliable. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and would recommend it to travelers who want a convenient location and welcoming staff. One practical note, city tax has to be paid in cash.

I cancelled my reservation on 15 December, within the free cancellation period, but I'm still waiting for the money to be released. The booking was for 20-22 December, and cancellation was free until 16 December. The hotel had reserved funds in my bank account on 11 December, something that wasn't clearly explained during booking. I contacted Booking.com, and they reached out to the hotel. The hotel told them the funds would be released, but that never happened. I've followed up several times and still haven't had a resolution or clear communication, even though I followed the cancellation terms. This reflects poor handling of payment authorizations and a lack of professionalism. I wouldn't recommend the property to anyone who wants transparency and reliability around payments and cancellations.

I stayed here in March 2024 and thought it was good value. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is great if you're coming for the history. My room was clean and comfortable, though a little worn. I skipped breakfast, so I can't comment on it. I'd definitely recommend this place to budget travelers who still want to be right in the heart of Rome.

For a one-night stay in Rome, this place was perfect. We were in the annex, and the room was clean and well maintained, though a little small, with a full-size bed. The bathroom was a good size. The location is hard to beat, with easy walks to all the sights, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and gave great service. I'd happily stay here again.
