Vatican Apartments - Prati Area

The smaller Yellow Room suited my stay perfectly. I could rest well, and the Wi-Fi never gave me trouble while I caught up on work. Alessandra was accommodating throughout, and I appreciated getting fresh linens and towels every three days. I went to the Vatican each day and could hop on the Metro whenever I felt like it. I often visited friends in Trastevere in the evenings, then came back to a quiet night's sleep. There are mini markets, salad shops, cafes, and fine dining nearby if you're hungry. I got lots of work done, had no stress getting around, and slept well. You'll enjoy staying here.

Alessandra was a friendly, lovely host and gave me useful advice for my first Rome trip. I stayed four days in her blue room at Prati B&B, which was comfortable and, best of all, quiet at night. The Vatican area is very close, and the Metro station is a three-minute walk away. There are some nice little shops nearby, plus a cafeteria directly across from the apartment where you can have breakfast the Italian way. I felt very at home and would definitely come back.

The location is great for seeing Rome, especially around the Vatican. It's right by Ottaviano tube station, about two minutes from the Metro and five from the Vatican. Termini is 10 minutes away by Metro, and there's also a bus to Fiumicino airport. We'd happily stay here again when we're back in Rome. Alessandra was engaging, funny, and really helpful. She spent time showing us where to go and how to get there. Her suggestion to eat and take a tour of the market was a great idea, we had fun and learned a lot. The flat is huge, very clean, and has comfortable beds, so it would work well even for a longer stay in Rome. It's near the Metro and Vatican City, with great restaurants around. You won't find a better place in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.
