The hosts were very accommodating, and our room was clean and cozy. For the price, it was excellent value. We walked to the major sights, took the nearby metro, and found the Vatican just a stone's throw away. The owners were sweet and gave us spot-on local recommendations. If you just need somewhere to sleep after exploring the city, this is a great fit. I saw complaints about breakfast, but an espresso and a quick pastry are all you need to get going. We'll stay here again.

Ruggero was a great help, pointing out nearly all the must-see places Rome has to offer. The Vatican, restaurants, and transport are all within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this neat, comfortable place with its rustic charm.

We booked through the website two weeks ahead and received a confirmation email. When we arrived, they said they hadn't received our reservation because they were having website problems, and that we should have called to make sure we were staying. A booking and confirmation email didn't seem to count for much. The person we spoke to only used the intercom, never came down to talk in person, and didn't apologize. Irresponsible and rude. A terrible experience.

It's clean and well placed for the Vatican, though the Colosseum and other attractions are farther away.

The only good thing is that the tourist attractions are nearby. The bed was dirty, and the bathroom was very old. A terrible place to stay.
