It’s not a luxury room, but it’s cosy and clean. The location is excellent. I recommend staying here.

The manager was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was great.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights here. The best thing was being so close to the Vatican. The building is beautiful and has traditional charm, and our spacious first-floor room had a small fridge, safe, efficient air conditioning, and a clean, functional bathroom. The bed was comfortable and clean. A maintenance man came every day to empty the trash, clean the sink and faucets, and sweep. Our host was flexible when we ran late, though he took a long time to arrive and wasn’t very chatty or welcoming. The building’s caretaker was unpleasant and wouldn’t give us directions. There were no clear directions to the exact address once we were in the courtyard. Smoking is taboo here. The bedroom door on the landing was extremely narrow, about 40 cm, so maybe go on a diet first. 🤣 We made the bed ourselves each day, so we couldn’t tell whether that was included in the daily service. The shower backed up with sewage one evening, but it didn’t happen again. There’s no closed storage or clothes shelving, just an open wardrobe with a shelf below. We didn’t hear neighbors, but traffic outside was very noticeable early in the morning and late at night, even with double glazing. Bring earplugs. The metal main entrance door slams loudly. The coffee machine looked just like a Nespresso, but we couldn’t find the hidden power button for two days. It would’ve helped to have an explanation. The kettle was quite scaled up. Still, it was a very good stay in a perfect location, and we’ll definitely return. 🇮🇹❤️ A room facing the courtyard would be a good choice. 👍🏻

The room was cosy, modern, and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was spacious and clean too. I had a wonderful one-night stay at Vatican Italian Rooms. It’s a great value for the area, with shops and restaurants all around, just steps from the Vatican and Ottaviano metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and communication was quick and efficient. I’d highly recommend it to anyone after a quality guesthouse in Rome. A few drawbacks: there’s no bidet, getting in and out of the apartment is a bit cumbersome, and the doors are very narrow.
