Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh baked pastries, plenty of good teas and herbal infusions, plus Italian Cofé&Cappuccino. Raffaela made everything easy with her warm welcome and helpful tips about events, tickets, and other things. The prices were fair, and I’d happily return. The B&B has three themed rooms, Cinema, which I picked, Photo, and Music. It’s on a quiet street just steps from the Holy See and Piazza San Pietro. The rooms had space to spare, quality furnishings, unusual decor, air conditioning, and a big bathroom stocked with a generous courtesy set.

Breakfast was much too sweet for my taste, mostly croissants, cake, and yogurt. There weren’t even boiled eggs or sausages. The hotel isn’t especially expensive, VaticanArt. Service was okay, and administrator Rafaella was okay too. My room faced busy traffic, and thin walls and windows let in the noise. The door was thin as well, so I could hear everything from the breakfast area.

The owners were very nice, and the rooms were pleasant. It’s also in a good, quiet location.

The bed was very comfortable, with a good mattress, and the bathroom had a large shower with excellent water pressure. The room was spacious, simply but stylishly furnished, and everything was clean and well kept. Housekeeping was included. Breakfast came as a generous buffet of fresh pastries, with yogurt, packaged sandwich bread, single portions of jam and butter, and Nutella too. There was a kettle for tea and herbal tea, a microwave, toaster, and a good espresso machine. For what’s offered, I thought the value was excellent.
