Booking this place was my biggest regret. We chose it so my mother could visit my family member studying abroad, and the advertised location led us to think we’d be much closer to campus. Instead, it was about an hour away on foot, and we felt misled. The floors were dirty, and I used a kitchen kettle that was moldy and dirty from previous guests. I became very sick afterward. The place was noisy at night and in the morning. Bugs came in when the windows were open, and silverfish were everywhere at night. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The two beds outside the room were practically unusable, and the broken sofa bed was half on the ground. Ylennia says there are king beds, but they don’t even measure up to a full bed. I regret staying here and strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Be prepared for the owners to defend themselves, but this is my honest experience, and I think you’ll have plenty of regrets if you book it.

Ylenia gave us a great welcome, and the staff were professional. The rooms were clean, and we felt at home. It’s an excellent apartment in a superb location, with the city’s most beautiful sights within walking distance. I recommend it if you want to enjoy the city.

Ylenia and her husband were really friendly and helped us with everything. The apartment was nicely furnished, very clean, quiet, and had air conditioning. It’s well placed near the Vatican, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, the metro, and buses. We’d highly recommend staying there.

A comfortable, great place close to the Vatican, Rome’s historic center, and the main sights. A better choice than the usual tourist hotels.
