Veneto Prestige Apartment

A good place to stay when visiting with family.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the apartment was clean and welcoming. It's in a fairly central spot, easy to reach by public transport or on foot from Termini Station.

Our host was so kind and worked around our arrival and departure times. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable.

I spent five nights here, and the price and location worked well for me. The room was spacious and close to the station. Across the road, Come il Latte has delicious ice cream and brioche, which I recommend trying. The gentleman who welcomed me spoke English, and he seemed to be Filipino. There are government buildings nearby, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance and what I think was the Ministry of Industrial Development, along with Roman sites such as the Baths of Diocletian. Piazza Barberini is also within easy reach, with some embassies along the way, including the US Embassy in Italy. I felt the area was reasonably safe, though it wasn’t very clean at night. By 8 or 9 in the morning it was noticeably tidier, probably after the cleaning crew had been through. From Barberini you can take the metro, or walk to the Trevi Fountain. The weak Wi-Fi was a downside, and the elevator is old, though it has a bit of charm.
