The location is good, but the rooms are cramped, have very few outlets, and weren't cleaned well. Staff were both unfriendly and unhelpful. It feels like little more than a hostel.

The gardens are large and well cared for, and make a welcome shady escape from Rome's heat. The modern, clean rooms also have more space than you'd usually get at a conference centre.

Getting around was easy thanks to the location and public transport, and there's a nice bar. But we couldn't adjust the heating, so the place felt cold during our December visit. There's no room service, and dinner cost 18 euros per person. With three roommates, we figured it made more sense to eat out.

Even though it's in the city centre, the place stays quiet and peaceful. The campus is beautiful, clean, and clearly well maintained, and the food was good too.

The room was spacious, clean, and in good shape, and the services and facilities matched what I'd expect from a hotel in this category. Sound insulation was poor, though, and the WiFi got painfully slow in the evening. In the morning, housekeeping tried to come into the room.
