My room was clean, quiet, and felt safe. The area felt safe too, and the location worked well: St Peter’s and the Vatican are walkable, there’s a bus stop across the street, and the metro is a short walk away. Some famous Roman restaurants aren’t far either. Breakfast was excellent, with savory and sweet options and plenty of healthy choices. I had meat, cheeses, vegetables, and pastries each morning. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the head receptionist was always around when I had a question. For the price, this was a fantastic place to stay in Rome. I’d highly recommend it to budget travelers and pilgrims.

Street noise carried straight into the room, and the old key and squeaky door hinges were loud enough to hear clearly. The room needs updating, though it was clean and the staff worked hard. There’s a small basement room where you can eat your own food, but the snacks cost a bit much. I emailed the hotel with feedback and never got a reply or even an acknowledgment. I left the comments hoping they’d help the hotel improve its service.

Breakfast was tasty, the rooms felt cosy, and the prices were reasonable. There’s also a self-service bar you can use at any time.

The balcony view was AMAZING. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff made us feel welcome. You can walk to the Vatican, and there’s a bus stop nearby for getting into the city centre.
