Villa Santa Emerenziana

Rooms are basic but clean. It’s a handy location for Gemelli Hospital and northern Rome.

We arrived today because our son is being treated at the Gemelli Polyclinic. We were welcomed so well, and the receptionist was very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The way the place is run stands out, from clear, limited rules about using the property to a real willingness to meet individual needs. Both the business side and the relationships with guests are handled impeccably. For a rental in this area, it also offers surprisingly good quality for the price. Those who choose religious life may have values quite different from the demands of this work, yet obedience and personal sacrifice can provide much of the inner strength to take on these challenges too. Congratulations to the ever-present organizing "triad", whose members I’m leaving unnamed out of respect for their privacy.

I stayed in July 2022 and found the staff very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and there’s parking on site. Guests can also use a small kitchen to make their own meals. Several shops are close by, and prices are very reasonable. It’s a great base for relatives of patients at the Gemelli Polyclinic.
