Be careful. Our room was robbed during our stay, and we had to call the police to report it. There were no cameras or safes, and we couldn’t see any security measures at the property. I would not recommend staying here.

The furniture’s a little old, but everything was clean and the air conditioning worked well. It’s good value for money to get a room with a private bathroom right in the heart of Rome.

The location is amazing, but the host was distant and didn’t help when we needed it, unlike what other reviews had led us to expect. On checkout day, we couldn’t reach him for hours while trying to clarify unclear instructions. At first he blamed us for the broken air conditioning, even though we’d been struggling with it for days and had held off mentioning it to be patient. There were several power outages, and we had to handle them ourselves because nobody was nearby to help. Our booking was cancelled on booking.com on checkout day over alleged payment failures from the previous week, despite our agreement to pay on arrival. As a result, we couldn’t leave a review there. It seemed like a deliberate way to avoid bad reviews for the property. It’s a shame, since we arrived hoping to enjoy Vite Suites after reading such positive things.

The host was attentive and super helpful. He arranged a milk-free breakfast for my daughter, stored our luggage on the last day, and gave us incredible food recommendations. He was always ready to answer questions by text or phone. We got our money’s worth, and we’ll definitely return.
