Major Hotel

The restaurant was really good and reasonably priced, and the hotel itself is a perfect choice near Trieste airport. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. They even let us leave our bike boxes for a week while we went on a cycling tour of Slovenia. I can't recommend it enough.

Our room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The dining service was great, and the barman was very generous with our drinks. It's close to the airport and catered for people with disabilities. The only issue was having to carry all our own luggage up to the rooms, six suitcases plus carry-ons. For our short stay, it was comfortable, clean, affordable, and conveniently located.

Check-in was probably the easiest I've ever had, and the reception and breakfast staff were kind and friendly. Our room was as described and comfortable for three. Breakfast opened early and was simple but enough. The location made things easy too, within five minutes of the airport, beside a big grocery store, and near a gas station for refuelling before returning a rental car.

Breakfast began at 5, which worked perfectly for our early flight, and there are two large supermarkets next door. The hotel is about six minutes from the airport, though an early taxi still cost us 21 Euros. Our room was 28 degrees, and the air conditioning didn't seem to work anywhere in the hotel. The receptionist checked it but said there was nothing he could do. Still, it's a decent airport hotel.
