Really, really good food and a lovely setting.

The dining room staff were so friendly, and the chef did a great job. Everything we ate was very good, from the starters and main courses through to dessert. It’s a lovely family-friendly spot, with a big, safe green area where kids can play. There are animals around, but no smell or mess at all. The countryside setting is beautiful.

The farmhouse sits right beside the Adige River, with a riverside walk leading to an enormous oak that’s centuries old. The weeping willows and tall oak trees are lovely, and the well-kept farm has plenty of space. Along with pigs raised for excellent cured meats and tasty grilled meat, there are donkeys, goats, roosters, turkeys, chickens, and geese. It’s a peaceful place for anyone after quiet country surroundings and simple, authentic food, with very fair prices for both rooms and meals. We ate there for lunch and dinner on the August bank holiday. We were seven, including our 4-year-old daughter, and brought our two dogs. Pets are welcome. The apartment worked really well for us, with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and the rooms were notably clean. Breakfast came with cappuccinos, moka pot coffee, toast, jams, Nutella, and pastries. The restaurant menu was a little limited, though we still found it satisfying. Special thanks to the owner, who made sure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back if we’re in the area again.

Gina the donkey is such a sweetheart, affectionate and very gentle, and all the farm animals are sociable rather than shy. Ricky, the caretaker's dog, is just as lovely, lively and friendly. The weeping willows add to the peaceful, evocative feel of the place. At Agriturismo Antica Corte Cason, we had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and quiet, and the bathrooms were roomy and practical. It’s a good escape from city chaos. The staff were kind and courteous, always ready to help with requests and a smile. Breakfast is simple, tasty, and suited different tastes, a nice way to start the day. We haven’t tried the cooking yet, so we’ll be back for that. I’d recommend this welcoming, quiet farmhouse to anyone who wants to be close to nature.
