Our chalet had everything we needed, the facilities were modern and very clean, and the calm surroundings were great for relaxing. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the service felt impersonal. We seemed to be just a number: staff showed little interest in us and explained nothing when we arrived. Some information in the rooms would have helped us discover the area, especially activities for children. We had to visit several villages before we found Cecina just next door, with inflatables, children’s activities, and some good restaurants. Breakfast was disappointing. There was no creativity, the bread was defrosted, and the buffet was always the same. We got so bored that we skipped it on the last two days. Wasps were all around us during meals because dirty plates weren’t cleared quickly. I ended up helping clear the tables so I could eat in peace. When we left, nobody even asked how our stay had gone. I would have said it was really good, but we’d have liked the staff to show more interest in their guests.

We came in May, so it was very quiet, and the property itself is beautiful. Our spacious, impeccably clean room had a private patio, a comfortable bed, and good linens, towels, and toiletries. It’s bike friendly, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was good, and the amenities include pools, a ping-pong table, and bike rental. The restaurant wasn’t open during our one-night stay, so I can’t comment on it, but the small bar was open for drinks and snacks. Coop and town are just minutes away. Grazie Mille!

We had a fantastic holiday and stay in Vada Village, and enjoyed Vada as well. The staff were in a great mood, helpful, and never pushy, and the simple, minimal design suited the place. Green spaces around the rooms and apartments are looked after really well. Even the smaller rooms have a balcony where you can relax, and now and then you’ll spot little lizards sunning themselves, which adds to the natural feel. We’ll definitely come back!

We’ve just returned from our second visit to Vada Village and hope to come back next year. The spotless chalet worked well for us: we booked breakfast each morning and cooked a little on some evenings, though the restaurant food was amazing. Our five-year-old loved the small pool and never got bored there. All the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, from the cleaners to reception, the restaurant waitresses, and the chef. Special thanks to our friend Rosella, who greets us with a smile every morning. Hope to see everyone again soon.
