Giusy made us feel right at home. She greeted us with all the information we needed, then served a generous breakfast downstairs the next morning. We loved chatting with her. We chose the B&B because we wanted to be near the Forum, and walked there before and after the concert. It’s on the edge of the city, but we felt safe. There’s also a bus toward the Forum and the metro. The attic apartment was comfortable, with a bedroom, a separate room, and a large bathroom. It had everything we needed, including water and a coffee machine. The place is clean and well kept, in a quiet complex of small villas and tidy apartment buildings. Communication before arrival was great, and since the room was ready, they let us check in early when we arrived to drop off our backpacks. We’ll stay here again for future concerts.

It’s very peaceful here, and the owners are genuinely friendly and attentive, even when giving directions. One tip: enter the street and house number into your navigation system instead of letting Maps choose automatically. Otherwise it may send you nearby but from the opposite street, where there’s no entrance or intercom.

I wouldn’t come back for what I paid. Between the hygiene and privacy issues, the stay felt like a risk to my health, and I’d give it zero stars if I could. The worst part was that nobody warned us there was a cat in the building. I have allergies, and only learned about it from my girlfriend on the morning we checked out. I woke with red, swollen eyes, itchy skin, and a swollen throat, and had to leave right away. When she mentioned it, the answer was just, “Oh, sorry.” Getting in at night was awful. We came back around 2 a.m. after a concert at the Forum, and the keys were wrong: only one of the three opened the house door. The complex gate was locked, so luckily a neighbor was driving in and we got through the garage. Then we found another locked gate that none of the keys could open, and had to climb over it to reach the front door. At nearly 2 a.m. there was nobody to call. The room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, over the bed, behind the TV, on the balcony door, and on the bathroom window. We could hear everything from the next room because the rooms aren’t soundproof. The owner lives in the building, and his walk-in closet was in our room. There was no coat rack, the TV didn’t work, and the only light was a small lamp. A camera was pointed at the bed and front door. I don’t know whether it works, but it felt like a total lack of privacy.

Giuseppe made me feel welcome from the start, and I had a really good time at the B&B. The room was excellent, with a large, clean bathroom. Giusi served breakfast with a smile and the food was very good. I’d hoped for homemade desserts, but otherwise I’ve nothing to complain about. The cats, Juoni and Calipso, are beautiful and make the day feel brighter, from waking up to going to bed. Giusi is a lovely person to chat with over breakfast, and gave me tips on places to see in Milan. I was sad to leave and will carry the experience with me. I hope to stay here again, for both humanity and tourism.

The breakfast deserves a special mention. Giusi kept me company, made me feel at home, and greeted me with such a warm smile that it made the morning. Thanks again for the hospitality! I’d never tried a B&B before, but this one was clean, well run, and in a quiet area. I slept without any disturbance. Giuseppe was friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure talking with him. Highly recommend it.
