Hotel Forum

The continental breakfast was excellent, with lots of options, and ended up being one of the best we had on our trip. We stayed for one night in mid-September 2023. The hotel is worn, but very clean and decent for a budget stay. The broken air conditioning was awful in the heat and humidity. Opening the window didn’t help, and mosquitoes came in. Fireworks went off right outside our open window late at night, and there was a lot of street noise for hours, despite the small-town feel. With the window shut, it probably wouldn’t have bothered us.

The rooms were clean, though old, and that’s the only reason I’m taking off a star. The staff were excellent, polite and helpful. The location was very good, and breakfast was nice. For the price in this region, it’s a very nice hotel.

There are shops, restaurants and cafes a few minutes’ walk away, with local prices rather than tourist prices. You can get pizza or kebabs with chips and a soft drink for around 4.50 euros. It’s next to a residential area, and I had no trouble with the friendly locals, even late at night. The hotel was very clean. A car is probably best if you stay here. It’s about a ten-minute drive to the train station, then seven stops to Milan city center. I booked it because it was near the sports arena where I was going to a concert.

The service was kind of good, but I really wouldn’t recommend this place. The hotel is far from the city center, and the rooms are old, dirty and broken, with lots of bugs and mosquitoes. There were loud sounds around 4 a.m. from somewhere I couldn’t identify, which made it hard to sleep and felt very scary. Thank you.
