I arrived on a Sunday at 21:00 without booking and had a room within minutes. The staff speak English and were easy to deal with. I could use the shared canteen, kitchen, fridge, and parking, and the WiFi was good, over 10 MB/s in both the rooms and shared areas. I stayed two nights, 29-31 August 2021, and was pleasantly surprised by the price and quality. The rooms feel like someone put thought into them instead of choosing the cheapest parts. I’d definitely stay here again.

The owner was so helpful and kind, and the hotel was beautiful and updated for what we needed. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at La Speranza Hotel GRAZZINI in Rufina. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the all-purpose room, patio, and restaurant next door. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The location is perfect, and Rufina’s train station has practically no steps. It’s about 10 minutes from the hotel. The drawback is that there aren’t late trains from the Centro Storico, and Rufina itself doesn’t have much to offer, though it is in a key location. This is a friendly, helpful family business, with no issues on that front. Just know there are no ground-floor rooms or room service. For international visitors, breakfast may be the low point, since it’s quite different from what people eat in other countries. Given the bedroom cost, you can put up with it. There are three nearby bars as an alternative, with paninnos and a plentiful selection of sweets.
