B&B Arco Caputi

The vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom is a striking feature, and the B&B manages to feel modern while respecting parts of the original building. It’s quiet and had all the amenities we needed. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and evening meals on the nights we didn’t eat out. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The B&B is in the old town center, with a grocer, baker, and butcher just a one-minute walk away. They all add to the authentic Italian feel. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, and the long flight of stairs up to the room really should be shown in the photos. The room and bathroom themselves were lovely, new, and perfectly clean. I also wouldn't pay the extra 10 euros for the breakfast package: it sends you to a bar for coffee and a croissant, which would've cost under 5 euros. Clearer details in the listing would help avoid the wrong expectations.

A heads-up for anyone with mobility concerns: the steps up to the rooms are very high, so this place isn't suitable for elderly or disabled guests. The upper-floor breakfast and relaxation room is beautiful and fully equipped, though it wasn't available because of COVID. The B&B has recently been renovated, is right in the heart of Ruvo di Puglia, and feels welcoming, clean, pleasant, and comfortable. Maria Rosa, the kind and helpful owner, greeted us when we arrived. I hope that room can be put to use soon.
