Sacile surprised us, it felt like a real Italian town, and the B&B is just an hour from the lovely Piancavallo ski resort. We stayed three nights and got lots of useful tips about things to do nearby and good restaurants. The owner welcomed us warmly. The place is a little dated, but everything in the room and around it was spotless, and the bed was comfortable in a nice, quiet room. Breakfast was phenomenal, especially the cakes baked by the owner's mother.

We paid €150 for two people for two nights, breakfast included, in the second half of August 2025, which felt like a very attractive price. The hosts are a friendly, helpful older couple, always ready to assist. The hostess makes homemade breakfast cakes, especially the one with nuts, and there’s a varied spread with plenty for anyone who likes a sweet breakfast, or dolce. The house is wonderful and tastefully decorated, with real wooden furniture in our room, camera no. 3. Our private bathroom has beautiful Mediterranean tiling, though I’d choose a shower over a bathtub. Everything was clean and quiet, and check-in was simple. I wish I’d known a little Italian, since the host seemed like someone who enjoys a chat. It’s close to the charming center of Sacile. Bibione and the sea are about an hour’s drive away, with a sandy Baltic beach, though everything is +10°C. Parking is available after 2:00 PM and costs €3.50 per entry. Highly recommended!
