The shower in room 5 didn’t work well, and I wanted to tell the owner, but he doesn’t speak English. Breakfast was a small buffet with coffee, juice, and water. For the price, the value was good: air conditioning, a very clean and spacious room, a great bed, a balcony, and roller shutters on the windows.

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff, apart from one older man at reception, were so accommodating. They made my family and me feel at home. We loved going down to the bar lobby after putting the kids to bed and meeting other travellers. The manager let us know which restaurants were open each night and gave us excellent dinner recommendations. The best one was within walking distance. It had the best homemade ravioli in Italy, even after our seven weeks travelling all around Italy. Try the coltello and misto de salami, too. Also, take a tour of the local Parma and Parmigiano cheese factories. Loved this hotel!

We were made to feel very welcome in this cosy, friendly hotel, and we’ll be back soon. The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast excellent with hot food, and the staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. One night, most places in town were shut and wouldn’t take any form of payment, but Federico from the bar staff went to Collechio to get us pizzas after his shift. He wouldn’t accept any money for them. Another morning, we asked how to get to Collechio and Alexei drove us there. That’s what you call service! Keep wearing my S.A.S. badge, Alexei!

Such a surprise! It was cheap but so good. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely. I can truly recommend this hotel!

Dogs are welcome here, and the staff are really friendly. The hotel is nice, though the rooms are uncomfortable.
