My wife and I drove 150 km for lunch at the Motel Basentum restaurant after booking through TheFork and receiving confirmation. Once there, they said they were full and told us to leave. I reminded them I had a reservation, but they didn't care. Congratulations on your conscience. They didn't even try to find a solution.

The food was exceptional, both in how much we got and its quality and presentation. The owner at the register was friendly, which helped make up for the waiter being a little distracted and serving regulars before people who arrived earlier. The restaurant has recently been renovated, and the Italian music in the background adds to its pleasant, fresh feel. One of the best restaurants in the region. Kudos to the chef!

We stopped for lunch on the way to a chestnut festival, and everything was perfect. Great service, and the food was delicious and high quality. I can't fault a thing. Highly recommend it.
