AleMar Sirolo

Alemar is spotless, smells lovely, and has everything you need. Marco and Blanka are always ready to help. We had read about a steep parking spot and mentioned that it wouldn't work for us. They have two flat spaces, and Marco even drove our luggage up the hill and back when we left. It's about a 10-minute uphill walk from the parking, and the beach pickup and return service is handy too. For 20 euro for two, you get an umbrella and two beachbeds for the day. Breakfast can be had at three restaurants. L'Oasi was our first choice because of its Google score, but the breakfast was limited to one croissant flavor and one drink. The croissant wasn't good, and my orange juice came in a small store-bought bottle and wasn't great either. The staff were friendly. If that had been our only breakfast, it would have brought our Alemar rating down to 3 or 4 stars, since breakfast is part of a B&B. Il Grillo was a very different experience. Its Google rating was only 3.9, but breakfast there was excellent: fresh products, homemade rolls, cakes, pies, sandwiches, fresh orange juice, and coffee. The staff were friendly and said we could have whatever and as much as we wanted. We later realized it cost a bit more than the other places, but it was worth it and matched the quality of Alemar. We planned to return on the fifth day and order less now that we knew the prices, but our favorite place was closed. So we tried Love. I could have a savory breakfast while my husband had a sweet one, which was a plus. The food was pretty good, but the portions weren't great: a mini roll, a small baguette slice, no fresh juice, and tea. They have a special menu for nearby B&Bs, but the pancakes and avocado and salmon toast you see when you arrive aren't included, which was disappointing. Love was our second choice, though there's a big gap between it and Il Grillo. The other breakfast option is nice in theory, but the quality varied too much for us. I'd suggest Alemar arrange for guests to eat at Il Grillo, perhaps with a discount in return, and see if it could open on its usual closed day for a smaller breakfast. Maybe guests could choose up to two food items and one drink. There are enough options for everyone to find something. Alemar deserves five stars as a place to stay, and a poor breakfast shouldn't bring down its rating. We took pictures of breakfast at Il Grillo and the surroundings of AleMar. We can’t wait to come back to Sirolo and Alemar. The seaside town has fantastic restaurants and shopping, and we loved the rooms, amenities, and host. Such a wonderful stay!

Marco, the owner, was friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and cosy, right in Sirolo’s historic area, with a renovated, very clean interior. Would definitely recommend it.
