Art In B&B

The room was clean and comfortable, with some modern touches. We liked chatting with the welcoming staff, and check-in and checkout were easy. The location worked well for us, near Salerno's central old area and both ports, which we used to get around the Amalfi coast.

We booked the queen room with a bathtub for our Salerno vacation, and it was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. Art in b&b is right in the center, near the restaurants and shopping street. Davide was friendly and helpful. A very good place to stay, and a must if you visit Salerno.

The room was the real highlight: lots of space compared with a standard hotel, a very comfortable bed, and a big jacuzzi tub. We stayed a few days to see the city and Amalfi. The location was great, and I'd absolutely stay again.

I booked this B&B because third-party sites described it as being on the 'Amalfi Coast', which gave me the wrong impression. It's in Salerno, more than an hour from Amalfi, and I regret booking it. I didn't stay. The cancellation terms were also much stricter than at most hotels or B&Bs: you have to cancel at least 7 days, a week, ahead, and the fee is 100% of the charge even if you cancel a few days before. Customer service initially seemed kind, but that changed. Update: Davide said I cancelled within 24 hours of arrival. That's incorrect. I cancelled more than 48 hours ahead, on Sunday morning before the Tuesday I was due to arrive. He also said they'd warned me, but they hadn't. When I explained the misleading 'Amalfi Coast' listing, Davide called my reason for cancelling 'superficiality' and implied I should have read the map properly, rather than showing understanding for someone unfamiliar with the area. I take back what I said about the customer service being kind. Don't book here if you want to stay in Amalfi itself or expect a customer focused experience. It was the cheapest for a reason, and the poor service shows why.
