Our room was roomy, the bed was comfortable, and having its own bathroom was handy. There were a few issues in there, though: some ants, a loose toilet seat, and a shower that leaked a little. Noise came through the walls quite easily. The place is a two-bedroom flat share in a residential area, within walking distance of most sights. The host was helpful at check-in and shared recommendations. Breakfast is served at a nearby café, which was open on most days but closed Sundays. It’s simple and good (see picture). There’s also a shared espresso machine guests can use for free.

Massimo was the highlight for us. He was warm, attentive, and full of useful restaurant suggestions, and we were really pleased with what he recommended. This seems like a good choice if you want to be outside the bustle of Salerno. The B&B itself is very clean and well kept, with a comfortable bed. Just know there’s no stocked fridge: one is there, but it’s empty. Getting around on foot is possible and affordable if you like walking, though the distance can be a nuisance. The streets are bright and busy, but the quicker route goes through a narrow, not very appealing alley. From there it’s a steep climb toward a park that shuts at 11 p.m., followed by a stretch of sidewalk and a short downhill walk to the entrance. Our key didn’t open the door smoothly. Breakfast wasn’t at the property. It was meant to be at one of two nearby bars, but one was always closed and we didn’t care for the other, so we went closer to the center instead.

Massimo was quick to answer, gave us good tips, and even let us arrive before the check-in time in the rules. We had a lovely week in Salerno and on the Costa Amalfi. 😉😜🤗 The room was modern, quiet, and clean, with a private bathroom. It was easy to get into, and we could use Netflix and Amazon. Coffee was available anytime. We had breakfast at Time to Coffee, where the cappuccino and croissant or cake made for a classic Italian start. Thanks, Massimo! 🏞🚎⛵️🍷🥧🍽

We spent 3 nights here, liked it a lot, and highly recommend it. The only thing that bothered us was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom. We kept the drains and toilet lid closed and put wet towels over the drains, but the smell was still there. The room was fully renovated, tastefully done, comfortable, and very quiet. The king-size bed was great, the Wi-Fi worked really well, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. It was perfectly clean, with blackout shutters on the windows and doors, a minibar in the room, and a lovely balcony. A table and chair out there would be nice, just a suggestion; their absence didn’t affect our otherwise perfect stay. The location worked well for us with a car, and parking on the street around the building was easy. Check-in and checkout went smoothly: it’s self check-in, simple and quick with the owner’s online guidance. The host was extremely attentive, helpful, always online, and very quick to reply. Since the owner doesn’t live at the property and there’s no 24-hour reception, be sure to share your arrival time ahead of time. Netflix and Amazon were available free, though we didn’t use them. There was also a voucher for a free Italian-style breakfast at a nearby café, which we didn’t use.
