Bed and Breakfast Palazzo Natella

The owner manages the place so well, and it's welcoming and clean. Recently renovated, it has everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. Its central location also makes a great base for exploring the coast. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place in the area. The owners were so kind and helpful, and the location is hard to beat: close to a free beach, in the center near the seafront, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Despite that, the place was soundproofed, and we slept like a dream. Everything was perfect, with excellent air conditioning and cleanliness. On the third day they gave the bathroom a thorough bleach cleaning and changed the sheets and all the towels. Breakfast was good, too. There was always a delicious, tempting homemade cake, plenty of yogurt and snacks, tea, herbal tea, and chamomile tea. Coffee pods, hot drinks in thermoses, and individual portions of jam and Nutella were there as well. If we're back in Salerno, I think we'd stay here again!

The only catch for someone lazy like me is the climb up three flights of stairs. Otherwise, it's a lovely modern B&B, clean and nicely furnished, in a good spot for visiting the city center. The AC was just right in this heat, and the owner was very kind, bringing us the keys in the evening even though we'd given a different arrival time. Breakfast came through a voucher and was served at the bar.

The property itself is lovely, but the staff were nowhere to be found and seemed to leave us to manage on our own. Breakfast was awful, with poor-quality ingredients. We raised our concerns, but nothing was done; when we came back that afternoon, the rooms still hadn't been cleaned or tidied. It felt as though guests' needs didn't matter and profit came first.
