Breakfast was pleasant, though simple, and didn't quite match the grandeur of the building. The delicious cakes more than made up for that. One thing I hadn't realized beforehand is that this feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, so plan accordingly, unless I missed that information. Angelo was a gracious host and quickly fixed the only issue we had, a faulty showerhead. By the time we left, we'd almost forgotten about it. The historic suite was a memorable place to spend time, with interiors that stood apart from other places I've stayed. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys history and distinctive rooms. We had a great stay in the heart of Salerno's historic center.

The kitchen is nice, but I wouldn't choose the rest of the place. We asked for separate beds and even wrote that down, but they still gave us double beds. The toilet and bathroom are outside the room, so you have to go out to use either one. Find somewhere else!

The host was so helpful, breakfast was perfect, and the fruit was amazing. Everyone was polite, and the people and restaurants were great. This is my favorite B&B, and from now on I'll stay here with my family when we visit Salerno. I've stayed in lots of hotels and B&Bs around Italy, and this place is in my top three!

Alexis gave us so many useful suggestions, and the breakfast spread each morning was delicious. She was incredibly welcoming, too. Casa Santangelo Suites is a dream in Salerno, with a beautiful building and rooms that look even better in person than in the pictures. Our suite had a spacious bedroom with two balconies, a private dining table, a sitting room, and two bathrooms. We'll definitely stay here again!

Alexis was an incredible host, and the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely design, and service and breakfast were great. It's in the heart of Salerno, just the right distance from the old city and the beach. When my mom wasn't feeling well, Alexis was so accommodating and helpful. We'll be back!
