Dimora Rhea

We spent a week based here in Salerno, and Marco was a great host. He checked in with us in person to make sure everything was to our liking, after giving us clear WhatsApp messages before we arrived. The place is right across from the Duomo, which made a handy base for our trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the Amalfi Coast.

We spent two excellent weeks in the heart of Salerno, using both the Hestia and Hera rooms. It felt very secure, and so much was easy to reach on foot, with the magnificent Duomo just a few feet away. Corso Vittorio Emanuele has endless shopping, there are places to eat around every corner, and beautiful architecture and little streets to explore everywhere. Both rooms were comfortable and very clean. The shower was nice and larger than in other places I stayed in Italy. Marco made sure the entrance was clear before we arrived and was always reachable by call or text for help, advice, or anything else. It was a treat to have an espresso machine available all day. For breakfast, the room has cards for a local cafe that you can present for payment, a simple and thoughtful touch. Grazie Marco! I'll visit again.

Our stay at Dimora Rhea was a great experience. The host was attentive and easy to reach, and every detail in the hotel felt carefully considered. It's right in the city center, close to restaurants, shops, and the main sights. We'd definitely come back.

Marco was very helpful and easy to reach. He arranged a taxi for us and let us back into the room after checkout time. The room was great too, clean, with good hot water and water pressure, and the AC worked really well. A few tips from our stay: text Marco on WhatsApp to get the WhatsApp Taxi Number, since it isn't on their website. In summer, ask him for a fan, as it gets hot in Solerno. The AC works well, but an extra fan helps cool the room. Closing the bathroom door also helps it cool faster. Breakfast coupons are included for a place near the hotel. For ferries, Molo Manfredi Peir is the pier nearest the freight port, to the right when facing the sea. Concordia is to the left, so don't mix them up like we did!
