I wouldn’t do business with this owner again. The property and its location were misrepresented, and when I tried to cancel my two-night reservation one day before arrival, he refused to refund anything. I even suggested a gentleman’s agreement: keep the fee for one night and refund the other, but he wouldn’t agree.

There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and Salerno Pastema Train Station is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay at Le Barchette. Silvio was friendly and very helpful, with tips for restaurants and ferries.

The back gate opens onto a lovely little spot to sit quietly and take in Salerno and the sea. We also had a great breakfast, with high-quality products, and the owner was attentive and very helpful. Our room was cozy, spotless, and peaceful, so we slept wonderfully. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. 🤩

Waking up to that sea view is priceless. Silvio’s B&B is close to the metro and bus stops, so getting around was easy, and the location is very well connected. The rooms are spotless and carefully looked after, and Silvio is kind, always available, and happy to share local advice. I had an excellent stay and highly recommend it for the welcoming atmosphere and genuine hospitality.

I’ve stayed in lots of places during my holidays in Italy, but this was the most beautiful, newest, and most comfortable room I’ve had. The sea and boats at Porticciolo make for a breathtaking view, even from the bathroom. The landlord was lovely and so helpful. From now on, I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Salerno!
