Salernoprestige Residenza

The rooms were tidy and well kept, and my parents loved the central location, which made it easy to explore Salerno on foot. My parents, uncles, and cousins were on a family trip to Italy when a flight delay made them arrive later than expected. The manager at Salerno Prestige stayed in touch, helped them work through solutions, and made sure everything went smoothly. The personal attention meant they felt comfortable and supported for the entire stay. Our family was very pleased with both the accommodation and the service, and we can confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Salerno. My wife and I are already looking forward to staying there on our next Italy trip.

Being right in the center of Salerno is the main plus. You can walk to the coast and the Historic Center. The room and beds were standard, and the rest was fine, but the shower pressure was weak and the sink drained very, very slowly.

The room was simple but comfortable, though noise from the trains and elsewhere did come through. The location is handy for the station, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Breakfast was poor, with little in the kitchen beyond day-old croissants and coffee from a push-button machine.

The host was lovely, cheerful, and kind, and the room had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi worked great, and having a remote for the heating and air unit was much appreciated after our stay in Rome, where there wasn't one and the air seemed set to 10°C. The place is on the main strip, close to the train station and a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was at a nearby cafe. We really enjoyed Salerno and would happily stay here again.
