The apartment is a lovely base for visiting the Amalfi Coast, and Salerno itself is beautiful. MR. Antonio was a wonderful, helpful host, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and in a nice location. If you're carrying luggage, contact the host ahead of time about pickup at the train or bus station, since hauling it up the hill is a task. Restaurants, nightlife, the old town, and the bus station for the Amalfi Coast are all a short walk away.

The hosts were kind, excellent, and very helpful. Freshly made croissants with milk or coffee were served for breakfast. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a full bathroom and shower, plus a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea. Books and culture are all around. The location is ideal, just a few minutes on foot from the port and city center. Highly recommended!

The historic center is right there, and the station is a 20-minute walk through the main streets, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via dei Mercanti. It's also a good base for the Amalfi Coast, with the Sita bus stop and port just minutes away, so you can choose to travel to Amalfi by land or sea. Boats to Ischia and Capri leave from the port too. Parking in the old town can be difficult, though not impossible. There aren't many spaces, so I'd unload the luggage and park at the port, or come by train.

We spent four days here and left with lovely memories. The mattress was comfortable, and we had a nice balcony view. Perfectly located near Minevra Gardens, restaurants, and public transport.
