Dinner was the highlight for me: for 20€ I got a remarkable spread of local dishes, cooked beautifully and served with real care. There were lots of choices, including a self-service first course and an appealing dessert display. I went for the fresh fruit salad, which had a great selection of fruit. The Robesco wine they recommended was memorable and such good value that I'd gladly pay more for it. As a pilgrim, I also appreciated that the hosts made me a generously filled sandwich for later on my journey. My room was comfortable and clean, with everything in its place, and it even had a bath, which I loved. The hotel is clean and efficiently run. It seemed to be managed by two charming, hardworking young women, though there must be many staff working behind the scenes. The food, service, and prices were all great, and everything came with a smile.

The staff are lovely, flexible, and always willing to help, and dinner was wonderful, including for children. The rooms are another story: there's no sound insulation, so you hear every TV and footstep, and the nights were a nightmare. The place also feels quite old and hasn't been renovated for a while.

The retro interior at Hotel Sporting 3☆ has all sorts of interesting furniture. It's in a pleasant spot in Tabian, surrounded by nature, with a football field and several hotels nearby. Service is professional and friendly, and the food is good with a satisfactory choice. It seems a nice place to stop while passing through or to enjoy a stay at the spa. Recommended.

The hotel sits beautifully in the hills, and has a parking garage. Breakfast was nice, service was great, and dinner felt quite fancy. They also offer full board.
